Description

The Prayer Plant, also known by its scientific name of Maranta Leuconeura, is a well-liked houseplant that is renowned for its lovely foliage and unusual habit of folding its leaves upward in the evening, resembling hands folded in prayer. The Prayer Plant cultivar known as the Lemon Lime variety has vibrant green leaves with eye-catching patterns in lemon and lime tones.

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE: The same plant that is in the images

CARE:
Light: Bright, indirect light is preferred by prayer plants. They need to be situated close to a window that gets filtered or partially shaded light. Their leaves can become scorched by direct sunlight, so it's best to avoid placing them in direct sunlight

Temperature and Humidity: Warm, humid environments are ideal for these plants. They prefer ambient temperatures of between 65 and 80 °F (18 and 27 °C). Additionally, they prefer higher humidity levels, so misting the leaves or setting the plant on a tray with water and pebbles can help.

Watering: Prayer Plants like to be kept evenly moist but not soggy. Water them when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry to the touch. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water, as it can lead to root rot. It's better to be underwater slightly than over water.

Soil & Fertilizer: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains moisture but doesn't become waterlogged when it comes to soil and fertilizer. Compost, perlite, and peat moss are good combinations. During the growing season (spring and summer), fertilize the plant once a month with a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer to promote healthy growth.

NOTE: We prioritize the well-being of your plants throughout the delivery process, ensuring meticulous care from packaging to shipment. We promptly notify you once your package is dispatched and vigilantly monitor weather conditions. In the event of any delays necessitated by weather, we keep you informed. If your plant arrives with any damage, rest assured that we're here for you; simply reach out to us, and our dedicated team will provide assistance within 24 hours.
