Description

2” Silver Pothos in a nursery pot - Silver Pothos starter plant - Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus' - Low light pothos for indoor

Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus', commonly known as the Silver Satin Pothos or Satin Pothos, is a popular trailing houseplant appreciated for its distinctive silvery foliage. The Silver Satin Pothos has heart-shaped leaves with a beautiful, satiny texture. The leaves are deep green with striking silver-gray or silvery-white variegation, which gives the plant its common name. The variegation can vary in intensity, making each leaf unique.

WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE: A similar plant that is in the images in a 2" pot.

CARE:
Light: Provide bright, indirect light for your Silver Satin Pothos. It can tolerate lower light conditions but thrives in medium to bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

Temperature: Maintain a temperature range between 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C). Silver Satin Pothos is relatively adaptable to different temperature levels.

Humidity: While it can adapt to normal indoor humidity levels, higher humidity is beneficial. Aim for a humidity level of around 50% or more. You can increase humidity by misting the plant, using a humidity tray, or employing a room humidifier.

Watering: Allow the top inch or so of the soil to dry out before watering. These plants prefer slightly more consistent moisture compared to some other pothos varieties. Be cautious not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot. Ensure proper drainage in the pot.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A mix designed for tropical or aroid plants works well.

NOTE: We prioritize the well-being of your plants throughout the delivery process, ensuring meticulous care from packaging to shipment. We promptly notify you once your package is dispatched and vigilantly monitor weather conditions. In the event of any delays necessitated by weather, we keep you informed. If your plant arrives with any damage, rest assured that we're here for you; simply reach out to us, and our dedicated team will provide assistance within 24 hours.
