Hoya 'Krimson Queen' is a popular cultivar of Hoya carnosa, commonly known as the wax plant is a beautiful indoor plant. The plant is native to Thailand, India, China as well as Indonesia. It belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is part of the Hoya genus. Hoyas are perennials and are epiphytic vining plants that are known for their ropy vines.

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE: You will receive a plant similar to the images listed in a 4" grow pot

Light: Place your Hoya 'Krimson Queen' in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some morning or evening sun, but avoid exposing it to intense, direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

Temperature: It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures but should be protected from drafts and cold air. This Hoya cultivar prefers temperatures between 60°F (15°C) and 80°F (27°C).

Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering. Hoya plants prefer to be slightly on the drier side rather than consistently moist. Water thoroughly and let the excess water drain out from the bottom of the pot.

Humidity: Hoya plants appreciate moderate to high humidity levels.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture but doesn't become waterlogged. A mix of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark or sphagnum moss works well for Hoyas.
