Sansevieria zeylanica, commonly known as the Ceylon Bowstring Hemp or simply the Snake Plant, is a popular and easy-to-care-for indoor plant known for its striking upright growth and architectural foliage. Sansevieria zeylanica features long, sword-shaped leaves that are dark green with lighter green, horizontal striations.

CARE TIPS:
Light: Sansevieria zeylanica is adaptable to a wide range of light conditions. It can thrive in low to bright, indirect light. However, it may grow more slowly in lower light, so providing bright, indirect light is ideal.

Temperature: Maintain a temperature range between 70°F to 90°F (21°C to 32°C). Snake Plants can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures but should be protected from frost.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between watering. Snake Plants are highly drought-tolerant and prefer to be on the dry side rather than overwatered. Water sparingly in the winter when growth is slower. Be cautious not to let the plant sit in standing water.

Soil: Use a well-draining, succulent or cactus potting mix or any general-purpose potting soil. Good drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
