Water: Rubber plants like to be watered when the top 2 inches of their soil are totally dry to the touch. They also enjoy the occasional misting, especially when the air around them is dry.

Re-potting: Remember, re-potting is a stressful process for plants, so it's important to avoid disturbing the roots too much and to keep the soil consistently moist in the days following re-potting to help the plant recover. Choose a pot that is one size larger than the current one. The new pot should have drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating in the soil.
Propagation: When planting the rooted cutting, make sure to use a well-draining potting mix and keep the soil consistently moist. Water it thoroughly after planting and place it in a bright, indirect light location. With proper care, the new plant should begin to grow and thrive.
